The metal forms in the cover art are 3D representations of the Seer System

software interface.

 

The sounds that the software is capable of making are reminiscent of the etherial atmospheric quality of the cover illustration. 

 

The discs themselves are designed to look like a spacecraft from above and the case they lock into is designed to look like a docking port on a larger spacecraft . . .
